Knowsley Lane Primary School
Thanks to the children at Knowsley Lane Primary School for decorating the walls of our Pavilion and brightening up the place.
We invited the children down for a footballing skills session on the pitches and then we went inside the Pavilion for a drink and a few cookies while we discussed how they would like the Pavilion to be used in the future.
Some of the answers we got were
– Dance Studio
– Rugby
– Cricket
– Karate
– Fairground
– Youth Club
We loved these ideas and we hope to be able to develop the Pavilion facilities to accommodate the communities needs – this is our biggest challenge and one we look forward to working towards.
Theo, our very own COMMUNITY HERO and Knowsley Foodbank Ambassador
The story of Theo is quite extraordinary, inspired by Marcus Rashfords campaign for children’s dinners to be paid for during COVID 19, Theo went on to grasp this initiative locally here in Knowsley. He identified that this was a huge problem in our deprived county of Knowsley and immediately took action to help. Theo has since raised numerous food collections and annually collects over 800 Easter Eggs on behalf of Knowsley food bank through the clubs members and local residents. He has been selected to represent Knowsley food bank as their youngest ever Ambassador – Theo is truly amazing and we are very proud to have him as one of our very own – credit to him and his family xxx
In partnership with the Football Association and Knowsley Council our Pavilion is the central hub for all local residents and supports a range of activities – not just football.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help us run our clubs and to join our community steering group which will help us grow our Pavilion into what the community wants.
